Pepper Roni is a playable character in LEGO Island.

While LEGO Island allows and encourages playing as any one of five major characters, Pepper is the de facto protagonist of the game since the main "campaign" can only be triggered while playing as him.

Pepper is dyslexic, and the game contains numerous subtle references to him being unable to read or spell, most notably the "NO PIZZA" sign next to the jail reads "NO PIZAZ" when playing as him. Canonically, this is the reason Pepper is the only one capable of starting the campaign - he's the only one who is unable to read the sign.

Pepper is voiced by John Morris, best known for playing Andy in the Toy Story series of films.
